FAQ
At Mansculpt all our practitioners are male making us one of the only clinic’s that understands the need for a male exclusive service. Our practitioners have undergone specialist laser training in male intimate areas and body hair. We recognise male body hair is much thicker, dense and requires much longer to perform the procedure.

Laser beams target pigment found in the hair. This heats and destroys the follicle. After 7-14 days the hair falls out. Bonus: most of the hair will be gone in between sessions as well!
Everyone’s different so we can’t say with certainty. Most guys need around 8-10 sessions. We assess the hair growth after 6 sessions and adjust from there.
Before your laser hair removal session we kindly request you arrive shaved in the areas you are having treated unless you have booked for our “Pre-Laser Shaving” service. Or there may be a charge on the day for going over the allocated time. You can shave on the morning of your appointment or the night before if you have sensitive skin. You can use a body trimmer set to zero on sensitive areas.
Lastly, your practitioners will be working very close to you so be mindful of your body odour 🙂
We use the latest Triple Beam Soprano Titanium machine at Mansculpt. This features a new applicator that allows us to treat larger areas much quicker. The diode laser is able to treat all skin types since it has Alexandrite, Diode and Yag laser beams built in one device.
For optimal results we should see you every 6-8 weeks for body hair and 4-6 weeks for facial hair.
Hair grows at different stages: anagen, catagen and telogen. We want to target the hair at the active or anagen stage. Since not all hair is at the same stage at one point in time, multiple sessions are needed.
Some people like to come in once or twice a year for a top-up. Individual sessions can be booked here.
Absolutely! We treat every skin type (1-6). Your exact type will be assessed during the first consultation. For every client we use custom settings to ensure maximum safety.

No, we do ask that you treat your skin gently, as if you’ve had a sunburn.
- Avoid adding heat: showers, saunas and steam rooms. This is the most important, especially for the first 48 hours.
- Protect your skin from sun exposure
- No swimming pools: chlorine can cause irritation
- Don’t wax, pluck or use hair removal cream in between sessions
- Come back at regular intervals: once every 4-6 weeks for facial hair removal and 6-8 weeks for body hair removal
With every session the hair will grow thinner and thinner. After completing a treatment package about 80-90% of the hair will be reduced. We cannot guarantee 100%
The grooming game has changed, period. The outdated idea that hair removal somehow makes you less masculine? That thinking’s in the rearview mirror. Today’s guy knows that confidence and looking polished sometimes means getting rid of unwanted body hair. Whether you’re an athlete on a constant shave cycle, you just prefer neat things or you’re testing the waters, there are better options now than there used to be.
How Well Does Hair Removal Work for Men?
Laser technology isn’t the gimmick it was years ago. While shaving gives you maybe two days, hair removal creams are messy and temporary and lasers attack hair where it actually grows. The result? Smoother skin, way less irritation from ingrown hairs and it lasts. No treatment is going to promise complete permanence, but the vast majority of men end up with 80-90% less hair after completing their sessions. Those are numbers worth paying attention to.
Searching for an Affordable Male Laser Hair Removal Clinic?
Budget matters, we all know that. Search for laser hair removal for men and you’ll get flooded with clinics, but quality varies wildly. At Mansculpt, we’re not cutting corners. Medical-grade lasers, trained professionals and packages that don’t require you to empty your savings. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
The Real Cost of Male Laser Hair Removal in London?
Pricing for laser hair removal for men in London depends on the territory you’re covering. Smaller spots like underarms or the neckline are easier on the budget. Larger zones, like chest, back and full legs, cost more. You’re typically looking at £60-£250 per session in London, though multi-session packages drop that per-treatment price. At Mansculpt, what you see is what you pay, no hidden fees.
Side Effects Worth Knowing About
Safety should always be on your radar. When done properly, side effects are minimal. You might see some redness or feel a bit of tenderness right after your session. Think of it as a mild sunburn that fades in a few hours. Serious complications are rare, especially at reputable clinics. Mansculpt tailors every treatment to your skin type and hair thickness, so you get precision, not a cookie-cutter zap.
Will Laser Get Rid of Every Single Hair?
No one can genuinely promise 100% permanent removal. What laser actually delivers is permanent hair reduction for men. After you’ve gone through your sessions, most guys notice a massive drop in regrowth and whatever does come back tends to be way finer and lighter. It’s more of a long-term solution that saves you from the daily shave routine and keeps things consistently smooth.
Laser Hair Removal for More Private Areas
Yes, intimate zones can absolutely be treated safely. Plenty of men choose lasers for the groin or buttocks area; reasons range from better hygiene to just feeling more comfortable. At Mansculpt, we handle these treatments with complete professionalism and discretion. You won’t feel awkward or rushed. Everything’s done with respect for your comfort.
Does It Mess With Your Fertility?
This question comes up a lot and we totally understand the concern. The short answer: laser hair removal doesn’t touch your fertility. The technology only works on the skin’s surface where hair grows. It doesn’t go any deeper or get anywhere near reproductive organs. You can book your treatment without worrying about that side of things.
What You Shouldn’t Do After Your Session
Aftercare really does make a difference in your results. Here’s what to steer clear of:
Keep treated areas out of direct sun for at least 48 hours.
Hold off on hitting the gym or taking scalding showers right away. Sweat and heat aren’t your friends immediately post-treatment.
Put away any harsh scrubs or strong skincare products for a few days.
Don’t wax or pluck between appointments. Shaving’s totally fine, but let the laser work its magic on the follicles.
Stick to these basics and you’ll see better results while keeping your skin happy.
